Based in the stunning locations of Budle Bay and Lucker and surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, our self-catering holiday cottages and lodges on the coast provide a serene space for relaxation.
Founded and run by the Johnson family, our goal is to provide our guests with a personal and enjoyable experience centred around the ideal coastal holiday. Whether you’re looking for a base to explore the wonders of the county or looking to escape the city, our resort offers everything you need on your doorstep.
From an on-site Spa, gastropub, restaurant to fitness suite, all are located within walking distance in Lucker.
During your stay with Stablewood Coastal Cottages, we do our very best to make you feel at home in our luxurious cottages, which are all furnished with modern facilities for your ultimate comfort.

Stay in dog-friendly, self-catering cottages in Northumberland
Our collection of dog-friendly holiday cottages lead the way as some of the best self-catering accommodation in Northumberland. All our holiday cottages are dog friendly, so please do feel free to bring your four-legged friends along with you, so the whole family can enjoy a well deserved break!
The cosy The Apple Inn pub & School House country kitchen in Lucker, are both dog-friendly too, so you have the option to indulge in award-winning cuisine knowing your dog is right there with you.
So fetch the family, pack the bones and take a holiday that is sure to set tails wagging!
Please note that we charge an additional cost of £30 for the first dog & £ 45 for two dogs. Each cottage is limited to a maximum of two dogs. However, in some cases we can allow more than 2 dogs. Please contact us for more details.

Within Lucker, we have an award-winning gastro pub The Apple Inn, as well as well as The School House which serves delicious brunch and afternoon tea.
