3 Bed Cottage in Lucker, Northumberland

Stablewood coastal cottages are excited  to introduce for 2021 our stunning  new holiday cottages complex called  Southside Farm Cottages.

The steading of four cottages have been created by the sympathetic conversion of the original farm dwelling with the addition of two brand new attached cottages built in stone with a slate roof that compliment the original building.

 

We believe these new  cottages will prove a huge success with clients old and new. The cottages benefit from being situated in a rural location on the edge of the  beautiful  Northumberland village of  Lucker less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village where you will find the award winning Apple Inn Pub & the other stablewood Eatery. The awarding winning Beau monde Salon & Spa is just  a further 2 minute walk from the centre of the village.

 

The cottages have been created  with a courtyard appearance benefitting from private parking for each cottage.

 

The original farmhouse cottage have been converted and enlarged to create two stunning  units called Elm & Ash Cottages. These cottages have two bedrooms and one junior suite  all with en-suite facilities the accommodation is set out mainly  to the  ground floor with an open plan  lounge and separate dining area with a separate kitchen . The cottage have a unique junior suite  which is set over two floors with the bedroom and Separate stand-alone  bath in the upper mezzanine for that romantic tranquil space. This suite has its own lounge area to the ground floor with an attached shower room. For those seeking more  guest accommodation  the lounge area  can as an upgrade be converted so  the sofa converts to  a bed for children . The lounge area can be further separated from the upstairs bedroom as it benefits from its own double doors to create further privacy . Both units benefit from full central heating and the desired log burner.

 

Both Elm & Ash Cottages have stunning views to the rear of the cottage which has a decking area connecting  directly to the dining room that allow guests to easily connect to  the outside space  and for those who want to pamper themselves both cottages have a fixed hot tubs that can be hired as an optional upgrade for all or part of your holiday.

 

(please note the cottage sleeps 6, plus additional 2 on a sofa bed, sofa bed fees will apply if required.)

In Lucker you will find two eateries, The Apple Inn and The School House. The Apple Inn is a traditional country pub serving a great food and ales. The School House offers a fresh approach to Breakfast & brunch using local products.

Lucker is only 2 miles from the A1, which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland and its wonderful coastline easy to do. The cottage is just 3 miles from Bamburgh, which has a host of great places to eat and drink, as well as its own stunning beach and the famous castle that sits proudly over the village..

Payment and deposit information

  • A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
  • The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

Bed configuration:

Bedroom 1 – Superking size bed (6ft) is set up on arrival. Can be split into 2 Single beds (3ft)

Bedroom 2 – 2 single beds (3ft) on arrvial Can be made into aSuperking size bed (6ft)

Bedroom 3 – Kingsize

Sofa bed also available for an additional charge.

Please note- if you would like to change the bed configuration please give us at least 72 hour notice.  There will be no charge.

If you would like this changed on the day of your arrival, you will incur a £40 charge per bed & this subject to availability of our cleaning team.
