Set right within the dunes of Budle Bay sands, on a privately owned beach, Brown Owl Lodge is the perfect getaway for those looking for peaceful surroundings by the sea. On our privately owned sandy beach, you can take in the peacefulness of the area and relish Northumberland’s beauty.
Brown Owl Lodge is a cosy log cabin, which provides a spacious open plan kitchen, living room and dining area with access to the patio and outside seating area. The lodge sleeps upto 4 guests, with one king-sized bedroom and en-suite shower room, WC and wash basin, along with a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath, WC and hand basin.
The large open concept kitchen, living room, and dining area of Brown Owl Lodge allow access to the patio and outdoor seating area. With one king-sized bedroom, an en suite shower room, WC, and washbasin, and another twin bedroom with a shower over the bath, WC, and hand basin, the lodge can accommodate four guests.

Budle Bay is located just over a mile away from Bamburgh, where the village has a host of shops, as well as a vast golden beach with the famous Bamburgh Castle that imposes itself over the village.
3 miles away in Lucker you will find the award-winning gastro pub The Apple Inn which serves traditional country pub food and ales. Elsewhere in the village is Beau monde, an award-winning spa and salon where guests are treated to a free swim pass plus discounts off treatments.

Payment and deposit information
- A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
- The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

There is an additional cost to bring dogs with you as follows:

Hot Tubs
If you would like to add a hot tub to your cottage, we can arrange to set up a Lazy Spa for an additional £125. Please enquire about this at the point of booking, however if you have an existing booking, we can still arrange for you to have a hot tub by calling us on 01668 219 607 quoting your booking reference.
