About Goosander Cottage
4 Bed Cottage with hot tub in Budle Bay, Northumberland
Part of the Heather House collection of holiday cottages, situated just above Budle Bay, Goosander Cottage provides extremely comfortable living for up to 8 guests sharing 4 bedrooms, with fantastic panoramic views of Budle Bay and up the coast to Holy Island.
This cottage has been purpose built to provide self-catering accommodation and features spacious en-suite bedrooms, private sauna, private hot tub (included in the price), as well as enclosed gardens and a wonderful sandy beach just 500 yards from the back door.
Goosander Cottage presents a spacious open plan kitchen, living room and dining area, with original oak furnishing throughout, to create the perfect space for entertaining.
The cottage sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, comprising two ground-floor, king-sized bedrooms with ensuite shower, WC and wash basin.
Located on the first floor, there is a third king-sized bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with ensuite shower, WC and wash basin. There is also an infra- red sauna! (please note you will need your own dressing gown and slippers).
Outside you will find a hot tub, patio with outdoor furniture, an enclosed grass area, large shared grass paddock and outdoor BBQ ideal for making the most of the great outdoors! There is also a front seating area with patio heater to keep you warm on cooler nights.
A travel cot and highchair are available upon request, please note we do not provide a mattress and bedding.
Private parking (3 cars) and bike storage is available on site, as well as a laundry room.

Bamburgh is situated just over a mile away from Budle Bay, and has a host of good places to eat and drink, as well as its own wonderful beach with the famous castle that imposes itself over the village.
3 miles away in the village of Lucker, you will find an award-winning gastropub, The Apple Inn, a traditional country pub serving great food and ales, as well as breakfast with all ingredients sourced locally.
Lucker is only 2 miles from the A1, which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland and its wonderful coastline easy.

Payment and deposit information
- A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
- The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.
