About Grey Seal Cottage
3 Bed Cottage in Budle Bay, Northumberland
Set within the dunes of Budle Bay sands, Grey Seal Cottage is the perfect getaway for up to 6 guests looking for some tranquillity by the sea. With a privately owned sandy beach for all guests to enjoy, you can sit at peace within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Part of the Heather Cottages collection, Grey Seal Cottage offers the luxury of a hot tub and has views stretching across Budle Bay to Holy Island where the sunrise and sunset can be simply breathtaking.
The ground floor of Grey Seal Cottage comprises of a kitchen with breakfast bar and a raised breakfast area with a table and chairs. There is a split-level living room and dining area with a TV, offering ample seating. The fully tiled shower room comes complete with a WC, basin and heated towel rail. Additionally, you will find a double bedroom with a TV on the ground floor.
Access to a private enclosed garden area with hot tub and patio furniture, Grey Seal Cottage provides the ideal holiday cottage to relax after a day of exploring, and the individual decked area offers stunning views of the sand dunes and Budle Bay.
Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms.
- Three bedrooms: 1 x ground-floor double with TV, 1 x twin with en-suite with walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin
- Upstairs has a Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC
- Upstairs twin has an ensuite also Kitchen

Bamburgh is situated just over a mile away from Budle Bay, and has a host of good places to eat and drink, as well as its own wonderful beach with the famous castle that imposes itself over the village.
3 miles away in the village of Lucker, you will find an award-winning gastro pub The Apple Inn, a traditional country pub serving great food and ales, as well as breakfast with all ingredients sourced locally.
Lucker is only 2 miles from the A1, which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland and its wonderful coastline easy.

Payment and deposit information
- A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
- The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.
