About Plover Cottage
2 Bed Cottage in Budle Bay, Northumberland
Set within the dunes of Budle Bay sands, Plover Cottage is the perfect getaway for up to 4 guests to enjoy some tranquillity by the sea, and where you have access to a privately owned sandy beach for all guests to enjoy.
Part of the Heather Cottages Collection, Plover Cottage has views stretching across Budle Bay to Holy Island where the sunrise and sunset can be breathtaking.
Downstairs in Plover Cottage, there is a well-equipped kitchen which leads into an open-plan living room and dining area. The spacious living room offers ample comfortable seating as well as a multi-fuel stove for cosy nights in. The bathroom is complete with a shower over the bath, a WC and a hand basin.
On the first floor you’ll find a twin and a double bedroom with wardrobes and storage drawers.
Outside, there is access to a shared, enclosed garden area with patio furniture which provides the ideal surroundings to enjoy the views, as well as a private decked area. All guests also have access to our private beach.

Bamburgh is situated just over a mile away from Budle Bay, and has a host of good places to eat and drink, as well as its own wonderful beach with the famous castle that imposes itself over the village.
3 miles away in the village of Lucker, you will find an award-winning gastropub, The Apple Inn, a traditional country pub serving great food and ales, as well as breakfast with all ingredients sourced locally.
Lucker is only 2 miles from the A1, which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland and its wonderful coastline easy.

Payment and deposit information
- A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
- The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

If you would like to add a hot tub to your cottage, we can arrange to set up a Lazy Spa for an additional £125.
