Stablewood coastal cottages are excited to introduce for 2021 our stunning new holiday cottages complex called Southside Farm Cottages
Set to open in Spring 2021 the steading of four cottages have been created by the sympathetic conversion of the original farm dwelling with the addition of two brand new attached cottages built in stone with a slate roof that compliment the original building .
Yew Cottage is one of the newly built 2 bedroom cottages.
Southside is located to the edge of Lucker which is approximately 3 miles from Bamburgh and the wonderful extensive north Northumberland coastline. Lucker itself is only 2 miles from the A1 which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland easy to do.
We believe all four cottages will prove a huge success with clients old and new. The cottages benefit from being situated in a rural location on the edge of the beautiful Northumberland village of Lucker less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village where you will find The award winning Apple Inn Pub & the other Stablewood Eatery where our guest get a discount of their food.
The awarding winning Beau monde Salon & Spa is just a further 2 minute walk from the centre of the village. Stablewood guests get an initial free pool or gym session and can benefit from discounted prices for salon and spa treatments and special prices for additional pool or gym passes
The cottages all provide the feeling of a peaceful tranquillity being surrounded by stunning views and green fields.
The cottages have been created with a courtyard appearance and benefit from private parking for each cottage.
The two newly built cottages called Yew (1) & Oak (4) have been modelled on our very successful Pippin and Crispin also located in Lucker.
The cottages have full central heating but have the sort after feature of a log fire. Externally the cottages have their own garden area which is fenced off to make them dog friendly.
In Lucker you will find two eateries, The Apple Inn and The School House. The Apple Inn is a traditional country pub serving a great food and ales. The School House offers a fresh approach to Breakfast & brunch using local products.

Lucker is only 2 miles from the A1, which makes visiting landmarks and exploring Northumberland and its wonderful coastline easy to do. Payment and deposit information
- A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Receipt of any deposit shall not constitute acceptance of any booking until confirmation has been sent. All payment, unless otherwise specified, shall be made payable to “Stablewood Leisure Limited” and sent to the address on the booking acknowledgement.
- The balance of the booking is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.

Bed configuration:
Bedroom 1 – Super king size bed (6ft) is set up on arrival. Can be split into 2 Single beds (3ft)
Bedroom 2 – 2 single beds (3ft) on arrival Can be made into aSuperking size bed (6ft)
There is no charge for either choice of bed configuration if notified 3 full days prior to your holiday date. For late notification there will be an additional charge of £25 per room. Such changes will be subject to the availability of our cleaning team so please let us know as soon as possible
